Artisans Welfare

Together, We Can Change Lives Forever.

Artisans Welfare

"Supporting an artisan is not just about buying a product; it’s about keeping a story, a family, and a thousand-year-old tradition alive."

At Poddar Group of Institutions, we believe that education is not just about textbooks; it’s about preserving the soul of our heritage. Rajasthan is the heart of India’s craftsmanship, and we take immense pride in supporting the backbone of this legacy—our artisans.

Why Artisan Welfare Matters to Us

Artisans are the silent custodians of our culture. However, in the age of mass production, these skilled creators often face economic challenges and a lack of modern market exposure. Our initiative aims to bridge the gap between traditional craft and contemporary success.

Our Key Initiatives
  • Skill Upgradation & Workshops: We organize specialized training sessions where traditional artisans interact with our design students, enabling a two-way exchange of modern design aesthetics and authentic techniques.
  • Digital Literacy & Entrepreneurship: We empower artisans with essential digital skills including e-commerce, social media marketing, and fair pricing strategies to ensure they receive the true value of their work.
  • Marketplace Exposure: Through exhibitions and annual fests, we provide direct selling platforms, eliminating middlemen and connecting artisans with wider audiences.
  • Sustainable Livelihood Support: We collaborate with NGOs and government bodies to help artisans access welfare schemes, health insurance, and financial assistance.
Bridging Tradition with Innovation
  • Students gain empathy and real-world exposure.
  • Artisans achieve financial independence and dignity.
  • Cultural heritage is preserved for future generations.
