Farmers Welfare

Together, We Can Change Lives Forever.

Farmers Welfare

"Kisan ki unnati, desh ki pragati." (The progress of the farmer is the progress of the nation.)"

At Poddar Group of Institutions, we recognize that the prosperity of our nation is deeply rooted in the well-being of our farmers. As an institution committed to holistic development, we strive to empower the farming community through education, technology, and sustainable practices.

Our Vision for Agriculture

We believe that by integrating Modern Science with Traditional Wisdom, we can transform farming into a more profitable and sustainable profession for the next generation.

Key Pillars of Our Welfare Program
1. Technology Transfer (Lab to Land)

We act as a bridge between agricultural research and actual farming. Our students and experts conduct outreach programs to teach farmers about soil health, crop rotation, and efficient water management.

2. Agri-Entrepreneurship Training

We encourage farmers and their children to explore agri-business opportunities including organic farming, food processing, and direct-to-consumer sales models.

3. Sustainable Practices & Organic Farming

We promote bio-fertilizers and organic pesticides, focusing on reducing chemical dependency and restoring soil fertility through practical workshops.

4. Climate-Smart Agriculture

We provide guidance on drought-resistant crops and smart irrigation techniques to help farmers adapt to changing climate conditions and maximize yield.

5. Water and Sanitation (WASH)

From awareness to infrastructure, our programs improve health and dignity in rural communities.

  • IEC campaigns, wastewater reuse, and water harvesting
  • UNICEF-supported initiatives across Jaipur, Bundi, Kota, and Tonk
  • Coverage: 77 SHGs and 23 villages
6. Waste Management
  • ICSSR project on waste management systems in Rajasthan
  • Organic product development from floral and agricultural waste (DST projects)
  • Municipal collaborations for youth, women, and farmers
